An impressive 3 win week landed the Tomahawks in The Hartford Courant State Top 10 for the 1st time this season. The T'Hawks find themselves in the #9 spot. The T'Hawks also jumped to the #3 spot in the Courant's Area Top 10, up from 8th the previous week.
The Tomahawks entered last week tied with both New Britain & Southington for the top spot in the CCC North. At the end of the week, they stood alone, with impressive wins over both New Britain (7-3) & Southington (1-0). The week began with a hard-fought win over Manchester (7-3).
The wins over New Britain & Southington clinched at least a tie for the CCC North championship.
The Tomahawks now stand 13-4 overall, 7-2 in CCC North play. Regular season play ends this week, hosting CCC North rival Simsbury tonight & East Catholic on Thursday. The T'Hawks travel to Meriden Maloney on Wednesday.
